Bad Tölz offers lots of room for cultural events. If you are looking for something special ther is the Kurhaus which was built at the beginning of the 20th century. Located right in Kurpark (the spa gardens), it offers modern catering in special ambience, a hall for 500 visitors and some conference rooms. You can enjoy concerts, theatres and other shows here on almost every day.

Another exceptional venue is the Stadtmuseum (the town´s museum of local history). In addition to the regular exhibition, there are also changing special exhibitions.

In Bad Tölz Marionettentheater, a puppet theatre rich in tradition, puppets have been on stage for more than 100 years and it is therefore one of the leading puppet theatres in Germany. Its regular performances are great pleasures for adults and children.
