The Tölzer Land (the area around Bad Tölz) offers various possibilities to use your bike. There are three long distance cycle tracks that lead through Bad Tölz and they offer a great view of the mountain panorama.For mountain bikers there are challenging tracks that demand concentration and physical fitness.In the evening “biker friendly” B&Bs and hotels, which know about cyclists’ special needs and wishes, welcome their guests.  

Hiking

There is the right trail for everybody: peak baggers and pleasure walkers. There are many trails that gently lead up and down but also those with alpine challenges and cozy cottages. But all trails have something in common - they reward you with a great view.

There is also an art walk on Blomberg that might be a highlight for visitors interested in culture and arts.
What is more, health conscious visitors can follow walks certified as "Heilklimapark Bad Tölz". You can plan your day trip according to your state of health in combination with recent information about the weather.

Bad Tölz has many lakes and ponds that invite swimmers. And on hot days also the river Isar´s gravel banks are very popular. Guests get a discount for "Eichmühle", Bad Tölz natural lido. When the sun isn´t shining you can go to the indoor pool "Tölzer Hallenbad" or the waterpark "Alpamare", where you can divert yourself for at least one full day with indoor surfing, wave pool, 7 water chutes and a lot more.
