Cures

Bad Tölz offers its health-conscious guests three different cures. Iodine: the source was discovered at the end of the 19th century and ever since, Bad Tölz has been known as spa town. In 1906, it got the rating “Heilklimatischer Kurort”, which means that its climate is beneficial to health. In Tölz we say “Tölzer Champagnerluft”, because compared to other regions, our air is just as good as champagne compared to other sparkling wines.

In 2005, Bad Tölz got the title “Moorheilbad”, that means it is acknowledged as mineral and medicinal mud-bath spa.
